O.C.Tanner -  Stakeholder Management

The process of identifying, prioritizing and creating a plan to engage and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders to keep them “on board” was the theme of the workshop recently conducted for OC Tanner’s Mumbai teams. Given that the participants in the multiple batches represented cross functional teams, their stakeholders were varied. An early realization was the not-so-obvious stakeholders such as one’s family members that affect one’s professional work. Deployment of experiential learning ensured that participants were enthused, engrossed and reflective. For the Element78 team, the entire process of getting on boarded on this project was a learning journey from Stakeholder Management perspective. Our facilitators actually discussed this journey as an example of Stakeholder Management during the workshop with the cohort. We wonder if this helped in forging better bonds with the participants, through the vulnerability displayed.
