Accountability in the workplace is important because individuals who feel responsible for their actions may be more likely to perform their tasks well and efficiently. A workplace that values accountability will also foster greater commitment and experience increased employee happiness. With this motive, Advik Hitech Pvt Ltd., one of India's leading & global automotive components manufacturers, invited Element78 to conduct a series of workshops on this theme for their teams across hierarchies and departments. The participants found the  training  very relevant, specifically to help them find practical answers to some of the issues that they face in achieving their results. Our prework with the participants as well as with some of the stakeholders helped Element78 team to customize the content and delivery methods. A workshop on this topic definitely creates the right awareness and ways to build accountability in one’s role; what is critical going ahead is to ensure that participants work on their learning and the managers ensure a conducive organizational climate to foster the culture of accountability.
